Monday, April 07, 2008	10:00am	Glenview Police Station Lake & Shermer Rds. (just west of Patriot Blvd. in the Glen)	Con Con Consensus - Constitutional Convention for Illinois?. Highland Park along with Evanston, Glencoe, and Glenview will meet to discuss the question: Should there be an Illinois Constitutional Convention? What we decide now may have a long-term effect on Illinois government. To arrange a ride email info@lwvhp.org or call 847-432-4732.
Saturday, May 03, 2008	9:00am-11:30am then 12:00pm-2:30pm	City Park Grill Restaurant Highland Park	Annual Meeting and 80th Anniversary Celebratory Luncheon. Invitations were mailed to all members. The Business Meeting is in the morning. The Luncheon begins at noon. If you have never been to a business meeting, it is a great opportunity to truly understand the workings of League. The Luncheon program features a review by Denise Philpot of the book, The Nine - Inside the Secret World of the Supreme Court, by Jeffrey Toobin.
