THE MID-TERM ELECTIONS: WHAT DOES IT ALL MEAN?.
Join us to hear Zachary Cook. Ph.D., Professor of Politics at Lake Forest College, discuss the mid-term election results.

Prior to Dr. Cook's talk, a wine expert will offer a tasting of wines by female winemakers with pairings of cheeses as well.

A donation of $10 to the League is suggested.

The book we'll discuss in January is "Purple Hibiscus" by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie.
Our book group has really taken off and book selections have proven to lead to interesting discussions.
