Coming Soon ... Garden for Wildlife
Save the Date: Sunday, March 17 from 2-4pm,
Highland Park Public Library
Our HabitatHP endeavor shared with Go Green Highland Park announced plans for "Garden for Wildlife", a family friendly resource fair where residents can learn about making their yards (and balconies) pollinator (and human)-friendly. There will be an educational and inspirational video about how we can add to planet health one yard at a time, followed by informal visiting with experts in native plant gardening, garden design and even raising monarch butterflies. HabitatHP will be giving away seeds for native plants, and signing people up to certify their gardens and porches with the National Wildlife Federation. Watch for details about this free program supporting our environmental positions.
